Taieri’s Beginner and Learner Coaching program concluded for the season today. The program teaches children all the basic tennis shots, including forehand, backhand, serve, volley and smash. Participants are introduced to the scoring system, tennis rules, and court etiquette. Once these are mastered children are then encouraged into junior tennis where they can play matches and are eligible to participate in the more advanced junior coaching program.
