The Taieri Tennis Club Inc. will hold the AGM at the Club’s Selwyn White Pavillion on Thursday 9th August 2018 starting promptly at 7:30pm.
The President will report on the state of the various aspects of the Club and the Treasurer will discuss the financial position (audited accounts will be presented).
The primary purpose is to elect the new committee for the 2018/19 season. The committee overseas the running of all aspects of the Club. It is very important that people are able to rotate in and out of the committee so that the tasks associated with running the Club are not left to the same few people and that this knowledge is shared. In particular we need more committee involvement from the Junior Club, someone to champion tennis for all our junior members; so parents and advocates please consider.
The committee meets once a month during the 8 months of the season (Aug – Apr), each meeting lasts for a couple of hours. Not a big time committment!
